Our Team

Executive Properties is owned by Bruce and Melanie Gates who are both Goldsboro/Wayne County Realtors. In addition, they are a retired military husband and wife real estate team with strong personal ties to Goldsboro and to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and the military families that reside in our area. We strongly believe that our military background helps us to be better real estate professionals, and has given us the ability to help our clients overcome any challenges associated with their pursuit of the American Dream.

Bruce Gates brings to the table 28 years of military service. As an Air Force Fighter WSO, Bruce knows all about teamwork and strategic planning which is what you need to ensure the successful outcome of your investment property. Bruce has been a local Realtor since 2004, he works with home Buyers and Sellers, and has served the Association of Realtors both on a local and state level.

A North Carolina licensed Realtor since 2000, Melanie Gates offers a strong marketing background and directs that experience to aggressively marketing your home to a targeted public audience. Melanie also works with Home Buyers and Sellers, and has also served the local Association of Realtors in a variety of positions. In January 2018, Melanie will assume the role of President of the Goldsboro Wayne County Multiple Listing Service.

Stacie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelors of History and obtained her Real Estate License in 2015. She taught English and Social Studies at local high schools for a few years while working in real estate sales part time. In 2019, she brought her classroom management skills, creativity, and attention to detail to Executive Properties as the Property Manager. In the last several years, Stacie has continued to grow the company, prioritizing relationship building with homeowners and tenants - clients are always impressed that she can recognize their voices when they call! While Stacie completes many tasks, some of her most important duties are screening prospective tenants, completing move in, move out, and lease renewal walkthroughs, advising homeowners of market conditions, and managing our homeowner's cash flow with the assistance of our high-tech software. Stacie also works with Home Buyers and Sellers, helping them achieve their needs with seamless negotiation. When not working in the office, Stacie enjoys cooking and entertaining friends, and spending time at the beach with her husband Will, son Liam, and their black lab Beau.

Michael Gates, Marketing Manager

Michael Gates is the Marketing Manager for Executive Properties. Michael handles our website content and placement, online marketing, flyers, drone and digital photography, and more. This is not his full-time role, as he primarily works in the technology space for an AI accounting software startup. He works behind the scenes but is an integral part of what makes our company so successful in the marketplace.
